RedlibInstances.com

Disclaimer

Last updated: August 20, 2026

This Disclaimer explains the limits of RedlibInstances.com, its Reddit URL converter, instance information, external links, and independently operated Redlib destinations.

Please understand the role of this website. RedlibInstances.com is an independent URL-routing utility. It changes the destination hostname of a supported public Reddit URL; it does not host Reddit content, operate public Redlib instances, or guarantee the conduct of any third-party service.

1. General information

The website and its content are provided for general informational and technical convenience only. Although reasonable care may be taken when maintaining the converter, instance list, explanations, and links, information may become incomplete, outdated, unavailable, or inaccurate without notice.

Your use of this website, a converted URL, or any external destination is voluntary and remains subject to your own judgment, the destination operator’s rules, and applicable law.

2. Independent operation and no affiliation

RedlibInstances.com is not Reddit, does not represent Reddit, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Reddit, Inc. The website is also not the Redlib project and does not claim to represent the Redlib developers or maintainers.

Public Redlib instances are generally deployed and controlled by independent operators. Listing or linking to an instance does not create a partnership, agency, employment, sponsorship, approval, or endorsement relationship with that operator.

3. What the converter does

The converter is designed to recognize supported public Reddit hostnames, preserve the submitted pathname, search query, and fragment where technically possible, and replace the original destination hostname with the selected Redlib instance hostname.

A generated link is not a promise that the destination exists, contains the expected content, supports every Reddit route, or will remain available. Users should review the final hostname and URL before opening, copying, saving, or sharing it.

4. Instance status and availability

Instance availability can change at any time because of maintenance, rate limits, domain changes, configuration, geographic restrictions, upstream changes, security events, or an operator’s decision to suspend or close a service.

Any availability label, response-time figure, automatic selection, or health result is only a limited observation made at or near the time of a check. It is not continuous monitoring, a service-level guarantee, or proof that the instance will work for every visitor or route.

  • An instance shown as available may stop responding before you open it.
  • An instance shown as unavailable may recover after the latest check.
  • Network conditions can produce different results for different users and locations.
  • The fastest measured instance is not necessarily the most suitable or trustworthy instance.

5. No guarantee of privacy or anonymity

Redlib is commonly used as an alternative frontend for reading public Reddit content, but neither this website nor a converted link should be treated as a guarantee of anonymity, confidentiality, security, or freedom from tracking.

When you open a converted link, your browser connects directly to the selected instance. Its operator, hosting provider, network services, and other infrastructure may process an IP address, browser details, requested route, and other normal web-request information. RedlibInstances.com does not control those systems or their data-handling practices.

Important: A public Redlib instance is not a replacement for a VPN, Tor, device security, safe browsing practices, or professional privacy advice. Review the destination and use privacy tools appropriate to your circumstances.

6. Reddit content and external websites

This website does not create, edit, moderate, verify, or republish the Reddit content that may appear at a destination. Posts, comments, communities, media, usernames, votes, advertisements, or other content remain under the control of Reddit, the relevant users, or the destination service.

External pages may contain material that is inaccurate, offensive, unlawful, unavailable, unsafe, or unsuitable for some audiences. A link from this website does not mean that we approve the page, its operator, its policies, or its content.

7. No endorsement or professional recommendation

An instance may be listed because it was publicly known or technically reachable. Inclusion, ordering, automatic selection, or a health result should not be interpreted as a security audit, privacy certification, warranty, endorsement, or recommendation.

Website explanations are not legal, cybersecurity, privacy, financial, medical, or other professional advice. Obtain qualified advice where your decision, safety, rights, or legal obligations require it.

8. Security and user responsibility

Users are responsible for checking the hostname, certificate warning, browser message, download, redirect, and content presented by a third-party destination. Do not provide Reddit credentials, passwords, payment information, or other sensitive information to an instance unless you have independently verified and trust the operator and understand the risks.

You are also responsible for ensuring that your use of this website and any destination complies with applicable laws, workplace or network policies, and the terms that apply to the relevant services.

9. No warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website, converter, instance list, availability information, and generated links are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without express or implied warranties. This includes warranties of accuracy, availability, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, security, or uninterrupted operation.

We do not warrant that errors will be corrected, that every supported route will convert successfully, that any instance is free from harmful components, or that a destination will meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the website operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or similar loss arising from use of or inability to use the website, reliance on instance information, use of a generated link, or interaction with a third party.

This may include loss of data, privacy, access, opportunity, reputation, revenue, or device functionality. Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and any mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

11. Names, trademarks, and ownership

Reddit, its logos, product names, and related marks belong to Reddit, Inc. or their respective owners. Redlib and related project materials belong to their respective contributors or rights holders. Use of names on this website is descriptive and intended to explain compatibility or destination routing; it does not imply ownership, authorization, sponsorship, or endorsement.

Third-party content, software, names, logos, and marks remain subject to the licenses, rights, and policies established by their respective owners.

12. Changes to this Disclaimer

This Disclaimer may be revised when website functions, listed services, operating practices, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use after a revision means the current version will apply to your later use.

13. Questions and reports

If you believe an instance link is broken, a description is inaccurate, or this Disclaimer needs clarification, use the contact page or email us. Please provide the relevant page or destination URL and enough detail to review the issue, but do not send passwords or private account information.
