A simpler way to prepare Redlib links
Reddit URLs can contain subreddit names, post identifiers, comment routes, searches, query parameters and other destination information. Rebuilding these paths manually on another frontend can be repetitive and may result in an incomplete link. Our website provides a focused converter that validates a supported Reddit URL, keeps its route intact and replaces only the destination hostname with a selected Redlib instance.
The purpose is straightforward: help users create a usable Redlib link without requiring an account, dashboard or complicated configuration. The converter is designed for public Reddit pages and does not unlock private, restricted or deleted content.
Why Redlib Instances are useful
Public Redlib instances are independently hosted websites running the Redlib frontend. Their domains and availability may change over time, and different users may prefer different destinations. We built this website to place the important choices in one clear process: paste the Reddit URL, review the listed instances, select a destination and create the converted link.
The original subreddit, post, comment, search and query route remains attached. Only the domain used to open that route changes. This makes the result easier to understand, verify, copy and share.
What the website provides
Our Redlib instances website is intentionally focused on a small number of useful tasks. The website currently provides:
- Validation for supported public reddit.com URLs.
- Preservation of the original path, query string and URL fragment.
- A choice of listed community-operated Redlib destinations.
- Basic availability information when the hosting server can perform health checks.
- Simple controls to copy the converted link or open it in a new browser tab.
How the conversion process works
-
01
The submitted URL is checked
The converter confirms that the link belongs to a supported Reddit hostname.
-
02
The original route is preserved
The pathname, search query and fragment remain connected to the new destination.
-
03
The selected hostname is applied
The chosen Redlib instance replaces the Reddit hostname in the final URL.
A focused approach to submitted links
The converter is designed not to save submitted Reddit URLs in an application database. The conversion can be completed without creating an account or user profile. Normal hosting infrastructure may still maintain standard access, security or error logs as part of operating the website.
Users remain responsible for reviewing the destination they select. Every public Redlib instance is operated independently and may apply its own policies, configuration and logging practices.
Independent operation and limitations
RedlibInstances.com does not host, proxy or republish Reddit content. The Redlib instances listed by the converter remain third-party websites, and we do not operate the public Redlib instances shown by the converter, and we cannot guarantee that an instance will remain online or respond successfully at every moment.
This website is not affiliated with Reddit, the Redlib project or the operators of the listed instances. Reddit and related marks belong to their respective owners. Redlib instances are community-operated third-party destinations.
